Psychological Solutions, Inc. is located in Raleigh, NC, just off Glenwood Avenue south near downtown.  For therapy clients, we provide flexible hours and a sliding fee scale to accommodate your needs.  We operate on a fee-for-service basis to maximize our flexibility in planning and providing treatment to our clients.  We are happy to provide clients with billing invoices, which can be submitted to some insurance companies for reimbursement.  Please view our forms below, detailing HIPAA regulations about your privacy and our fee policies.

Jennifer J. Schnitzer, Ph.D.
Dr. Schnitzer earned her B.A. from Georgetown University and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Pacific Graduate School in Palo Alto, CA.  She completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at Dorothea Dix Hospital's Forensic Evaluation Unit in Raleigh, NC.  She has worked with the severe and persistent mentally ill (SPMI) population in a variety of settings, including both state and federal psychiatric hospitals and correctional facilities.  Her most recent appointment was to activate a treatment unit for SPMI inmates in the Federal Bureau of Prisons to transition out of inpatient psychiatric treatment to a residential treatment setting.  Dr. Schnitzer has expertise in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of SPMI populations as well as personality disordered individuals.  She also provides treatment for adolescents and is on the advisory panel for the development of many achievement, intelligence, and memory tests to be released soon.  She has testified in both state and federal court as an expert witness and has provided training for state and federal employees in a variety of areas.
